Water problems in Jharkhand  can be attributed to a lack of effective water management and conservation initiatives. Poor rainfall and low availability of surface water have further aggravated the problem.

Today many parts of Jharkhand suffer from drought-like situations. Deforestation, urbanization, and contamination of the rivers by industrial and municipal waste have further exacerbated the scarcity of water. Groundwater is also over-extracted, which has caused the water tables to drop drastically.

But the good news is that there are solutions to the water problems in Jharkhand. Through innovative technologies, community partnerships, and education, everyone can work together to ensure that every individual in Jharkhand has access to clean and safe water. This will not only improve the lives of people living in the region, but it will also help the environment and have a positive impact on the local economy,

If one wants a better tomorrow for Jharkhand as a whole, urgent measures must be taken to improve water resources management and conservation.

Solutions:-

Rainwater harvesting and re-usage systems should be implemented at government and private buildings. The State Government should also implement programs that strive to replenish the groundwater and restore the balance of water bodies. Furthermore, measures should be taken to stop the systemic contamination of rivers and other water bodies.

The introduction of water-saving technologies can help to reduce water wastage by a significant amount. Finally, public awareness campaigns should be conducted to educate people about the importance of conservation and responsible water usage as a whole.
