This case first came to limelight, when the Police received a complaint filed by the FPL Technologies Private Limited who issues a card called “One Card,” which is a contactless metal credit card.

The fraudsters have been identified as Sunil Kumar, 42, Puneet, 25, Mohammad Asif, 32, all of them residents of Babarpur and there are also Vishwa Bhaskar Sharma, 42, and Pankaj Mishra, 37 who are residents of Jaipur as per the police report.
According to police officerd the key conspirator, Sharma, worked at a government college in Rajasthan and was the kingpin in the fraud.
“He was the admin of the Telegram group called ‘Loan App’ and he came in contact with other people who became members of the racket,” according toDCP (Shahdara) Rohit Meena .
Police revealed that Puneet and Asif, who worked at theAadhaar Enrollment Centres, were also involved in forging Aadhaar details.
DCP Meena also revealed that the modus operandi of the group was to obtain GST details of the celebrities from Google. “They were aware that first two digits of GSTIN are State codes and the next 10 digits were PAN number,” police officer said.
Since the date of birth of celebrities are easily available on Google, PAN and date of birth complete the PAN details. They would then get PAN cards made fraudulently by putting their own pictures on it so that during video verification, their looks match with the photo available on PAN and Aadhaar card, police said
The Pune-based company accused that these fraudsters approached the company through their app by uploading the details such as PAN and Aadhaar number to get credit cards issued.
